Gwen is a media-preneur and the creator/host of ‘Start Something Big!’ TV. It airs on local cable in Toronto and online, where she interviews entrepreneurs, visionaries and philanthropists about how they started their career. She also presented a TEDx talk on the topic. Gwen is also the interview producer for ‘The Naked Entrepreneur’ which airs both on cable and online. As an enthusiastic event host, Gwen has an eclectic roster of positions: co-hosting Vancouver’s Spring Show to celebrate the relationship between China and Canada through the performing arts, TEDxWomen in Toronto, Wealth and Real Estate events, and the ASPIRE awards for Young Professionals to name a few.

Hanny has more than 8 years of experience as a communications consultant. Her specialization is in the creative development of various communication strategies and campaigns, both online and offline. She has been advising well-known multi-national companies like Coca-Cola, Citibank, Google, Danamon, Evernote, Nestlé, US Embassy Jakarta, Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia, The Ministry of Trade of The Republic of Indonesia, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Microsoft, AXIS, and many more.

Hanny is also an international speaker/trainer. She has been speaking and facilitating discussions in several countries across Asia and Europe under TechCamp–a program under Secretary Clinton’s Civil Society (CS) 2.0 to assist civil society organizations harness the latest ICT advances to build their digital capacity. Last year, she also led a workshop on storytelling and developing creative content at MTV EXIT’s ASEAN Youth Session in Jakarta—to help ASEAN youth leaders raise awareness about human trafficking issues in South East Asia.

Hanny is a published writer and the co-founder of an award-winning social movement Coin A Chance!; sending more Indonesian kids back to school by collecting loose changes. Until today, the movement had raised more than US$60,000 and hundreds of media coverage. They had also been invited to collaborate with some big brands like Nivea Men, Citibank, Coca-Cola, and The Body Shop. On the side, Hanny also runs her own photography/videography business, Sunday & Sunflowers, and co-founded Traveling Words–a weekend retreat program to help people deal with their feelings and issues through creative writing.
